exam short story

The year was 1938. The German troops penetrated the front gate of the nuclear village. We had guards on all sides trying to damage the German tanks. I was at the north gate when the germans penetrated. There were more than 50,000 Nazis out there, all wanting to kill us. The operator was trying to contact the spitfires when suddenly a German had shot his rifle through the eye of the of the operator. He was 26 years old 26! He had never held a gun in his life, never killed nobody either . He was just a boy with a radio strapped to his back. I saw the kid get shot, I was looking straight at hime. I picked up my gun and shot that nazi German right in the temple.

I had to go and call in the spitfires. I told Williams to go on the 50. cal and try to distract the Germans so I could get the radio. By th time I got the radio and ran back Williams was killed. I started to tear up. He was my best man at your mums wedding son. The sergeant grabs my arm and drags me into the house. I contacted the air force and sent in the spitfires. Rolling thunder rolling thunder, that was the term used for the British air force assistance.

It took the spitfires ten minutes to get here. By that time the German Messerschmitts were flying towards us phenomenal speed. The sergeant and I picked up our rifles and sprint outside. We both go strait for the abandoned turrets. I cock back the chain and start to fire. 200 bullets a minute, 200! The sound of fire getting spat was in the air. I look straight up to see the the British planes fly straight past. It sounded like there was a storm brewing in the sky but that was no storm, that was one of the biggest dog fights in world war 2.

One of the Messerschmidt got shot down and flew in to a metal tower which was holding an nuclear warheads. An alarm was being blared and the 30 second countdown began. The Germans and the British both ran from the site. I ran into the closest house to try phone the nuclear lab who were in charge of the nuke. Of course the phones were fake. The countdown was at 10 seconds . I dashed towards the kitchen and cleared out the fridge, stepped into it and closed the door. The second I closed the door the nuke went off. Bot army’s the Germans and the British were wiped out in seconds. The fridge was blown 7 miles away from the explosion. After the explosion happened I kicked the door open to see the biggest mushroom cloud I have ever seen and then I climbed out of the fridge to be greeted by a team of scientist.
